Paul visited this place during the second missionary journey. This epistle might be the first epistle of Apostle Paul. 

           

1. They were elected by God (1 Thess. 1:4)

He chooses us in Him before the foundation of this world. We are not hereby an accident.

2.      There were imitators of the Apostles and the Lord (v. 6)

 

3.      They were an example to the other people (v.7)

 

4.      They spread the Word of God everywhere (v. 8)

 

5.      They were expecting the Lord to come (vs. 9-10)
